Fall is fast approaching so now is the perfect time to get your fall wardrobe ready. Curious which trends are hot for Fall? Here are a few you may consider adding to your wardrobe.
The Leather Pencil Skirt
The only thing sexier than a pencil skirt is a leather pencil skirt. Prada, Gucci, Tibi and Pamella Roland all showed the leather pencil skirt in their Fall 2013 ready to wear collections.
Add a feminine touch to your Fall wardrobe by adding a little lace. Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Lanvin were a few of the many collections that introduced lace for Fall.
The Full Skirt
The figure flattering and classic full skirt is also big for Fall, appearing on the runways of Lanvin, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Jonathan Saunders.
As the temperatures drop chunky knits are one cozy trend you’re sure to see everywhere. Burberry Prorsum, Alexander Wang and 3.1 Phillip Lim all showed the trend for Fall.
Plaid is another strong trend for Fall, as seen in the Lanvin and 3.1 Phillip Lim collections. Try a little or a lot or be bold and mix your plaids.
Leopard print is everywhere for Fall, from shoes to dresses to bags and trench coats. Burberry Prorsum, Tom Ford and Diane von Furstenberg, were but a few that used the classic print for Fall.
Menswear inspired looks are also big for Fall. From ties to suits and separates made in traditional menswear fabrics, the trend was seen on many runways including Dolce & Gabbana, Thom Browne, Rag & Bone and Marc Jacobs.
