We all know that as the weather changes along with the temperature, we have to switch up our beauty routines. Here in the Midwest it’s bitter cold, which calls for a change in hair care regimen too. I’ve swapped out my regular warm weather shampoos and have opted for As I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner. Shampoo, even sulfate free shampoo, can be a bit drying, which is the last thing you need in the winter if your hair is already naturally dry. Going from extreme cold outside to extreme heat inside can wreck havoc on your tresses.
For those who don’t already know, cowashing is simply washing your hair with conditioner, rather than shampoo. With traditional conditioner, however, this can leave a bit of product build up on your hair. Solution – Am I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner. This is my first time trying this product and I’m pretty impressed. I’ve used traditional conditioner to cowash in the past and I definitely notice a difference – with this product my hair isn’t weighed down like I’ve noticed after cowashing with traditional conditioners.
What I also like about this product, aside from leaving my hair soft, was that my curls didn’t shrink as much as they normally do with shampoo, which is awesome. This will certainly be part of my regular winter hair care routine.
As I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner costs about $7.99 and can be purchased at Meijer, Walgreens, Drugstore.com and Sally’s Beauty. Have you tried As I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner?
